This platform uses two distinct cameras to control the X and Y position of the component under the pickup head, as well as the X and Y position of the hole where it will be inserted. Vertical precision of +/- 3 µm is ensured by an iterative force and position-based insertion system.
Optionally, a third camera provides aesthetic control of inserted stones using deep learning.
In addition to solving all filling problems, OCTO+ is designed to handle a wide range of T0 assemblies. It can perform insertion, riveting, crimping, and screwing operations. Its versatility also allows it to accommodate a lubrication station.
